How to Sell on China Uganda Shop

Whether you're a Chinese manufacturer, factory, or trading company — here's how to reach buyers in Uganda and sell your products through our platform.

Step 1

Create Your Seller Account

Click 'Sell on CUShop' and fill in the registration form with your company details: company name, country, city, business type, website (optional), and a short description of what you sell. Both English and Chinese are supported.

💡 Registration is free. You can sign up from China, Uganda, or anywhere in the world.

Step 2

Wait for Account Approval

Our team reviews your application within 1–3 business days. We verify your business information to ensure a trustworthy marketplace for our Ugandan buyers. You'll receive an email once approved.

Step 3

Add Your Products

Once approved, log in to your Seller Dashboard and click 'Add Product'. Fill in the product name (English and/or Chinese), description, price, currency (USD or CNY), minimum order quantity, lead time, and category.

💡 You can add specifications like voltage, material, dimensions, weight — buyers in Uganda need this information to make decisions.

Step 4

Upload Product Photos

Add clear, high-quality product images. The first image becomes the primary display image shown in search results and category pages. Show the product from multiple angles and include close-ups of key features.

💡 Good photos dramatically increase buyer inquiries. White-background factory photos work best.

Step 5

Product Review by Admin

Each product you submit goes through a quick review by our team to ensure quality and accuracy before it goes live. This typically takes 24 hours. You can track the status (Pending Review → Live) in your dashboard.

💡 Products that are rejected include a reason — you can fix the issue and resubmit.

Step 6

Your Products Go Live

Once approved, your products appear on the homepage, in category pages, and in search results — visible to buyers across Uganda. Prices are automatically converted to Ugandan Shillings (UGX) using live exchange rates.

💡 Set your prices in USD or CNY — the platform handles the conversion and adds a transparent markup for shipping coordination.

Step 7

Receive Buyer Orders

When a buyer places an order for your product, our admin team coordinates the full process: confirming the order with you, arranging shipping from your warehouse/factory, and handling customs and clearing in Uganda.

💡 You don't need to deal with shipping logistics or Ugandan customs — we handle that side for the buyer.

Step 8

Get Paid

Once the order is confirmed and payment is received from the buyer, you receive your product payment. The platform takes care of collecting payment from the buyer in UGX via Mobile Money and settling with you in your preferred currency.

Step 9

Grow Your Business

Keep adding products, update your listings, and respond to buyer inquiries via WhatsApp. The more products you list with clear descriptions and good photos, the more orders you'll receive from Ugandan buyers.

Is it free to register as a seller?

Yes. Registration and listing products is completely free. We earn through a transparent markup on the product price shown to buyers.

What currencies can I price my products in?

You can price products in USD ($) or Chinese Yuan (CNY/¥). The platform automatically converts to Ugandan Shillings for buyers.

Do I need to handle shipping to Uganda?

No. You only need to ship from your factory/warehouse to the agreed handover point (typically a port or consolidation warehouse in China). We coordinate international shipping, customs, and last-mile delivery in Uganda.

Can I sell from outside China?

Yes. While our primary focus is China-to-Uganda trade, sellers from any country are welcome to register and list products.

How long does the approval process take?

Typically 1–3 business days. Having a complete company profile with a clear description speeds things up.

Can I write my listings in Chinese?

Absolutely. Product names and descriptions support both English and Chinese. We recommend filling in both to reach the widest audience.
